An absolute wonderful experience, from the moment I called to schedule the last minute appointment to my time in the chair. I’m new to the area AND a new mother, so it’s hard to plan; but Beju’s team was accommodating and understanding of my late arrival. I had a great experience booking an appointment day of with good communication for booking. I really like my braids and the size of them. I wanted bigger box braids because my scalp is sensitive so I knew the tighter, the more pain I would be in. They said they gave me jumbo but I would personally say my braids are medium. I was open to suggestions, I didn’t have a particular style in mind honestly. I just wanted to see what I looked like with box braids. I am glad I came here. The facility is clean, the staff is professional and the price is absolutely affordable far 3 hours of work. :O
I am not rating 5 stars because the gel that was put in my hair after, I had to wash out since it was applied heavily and unfortunately I’m partially allergic to synthetic hair so my scalp has been extra itchy (it’s been a week). I’m sure these are quick fixes with better communication, I just didn’t know what to ask for because I am inexperienced. First pic taken day of and second is a week in.Thank you/merci!! The best in San Diego! I’m from the east coast and I had a hard time finding efficient and reasonable braiders that are neat with their work and professional. The whole shop was professional and welcoming when I arrived. I arrived yesterday at 9:30am, was in the chair by 9:31am and was out of the chair by 2p. My braids are absolutely beautiful and worth every penny! I got boho braids with human hair. Received so many compliments - I will refer and also going back. Thank you very much for accommodating me at short notice!
